Full Length Transcriptome Sequencing

Full length transcriptome sequencing (Iso-Seq) based on PacBio sequencing platform can directly obtain the full-length sequence of mRNA and can more accurately interpret the structural information of mRNA. Full length transcriptome sequencing technology can overcome the problem of short assembly sequence and incomplete information of transcripts for non-reference genomic species. It can obtain full-length mRNA sequence, analyze homologous isomer, single base mutation detection, alternative splicing analysis, homologous gene recognition and allele recognition.

 

Project Advice

Full length transcriptome sequencing is suitable for a single sample or multiple samples. For species with reference genome, Iso-Seq can achieve the alternative splicing and other gene structure analysis accurately. For species without reference genome, Iso-Seq can also help the assembly of RNA-seq.
