1. Service Features

2. Sample Requirements

1) Strain

a. Please indicate the type of culture medium, antibiotic type, vector name and sequencing primer for samples submission.

b. For the samples with specific resistance and culture conditions, it is recommended to provide 5ml of culture solution or precipitated bacteria.

c. Fresh bacterial solution ≥ 200μL. For frozen preserved strains with glycerin, please submit strain samples after recovery. The lack of samples will prolong the culture time and delay your experiments.

d. We provide four kinds of antibiotics: Amp, Kan, Cm and Tc. For other types of antibiotics, please indicate the original solution concentration and working concentration, and submit them together with the sample.

2) Plasmid

a. In order to ensure the sequencing quality, it is suggested to provide strain sequencing.

b. When only the plasmid template can be provided for sequencing due to special reasons, it must be ensured that the plasmid is of high purity and must be dissolved in sterilized deionized water instead of TE solution or other solutions. Concentration ≥100ng/μL， the volume ≥ 10μL.

c. If it is virus DNA (including phage), low copy plasmid and BAC DNA, please purify the template and we will directly sequence the samples.

d. Please note the special structure of inserted fragment, it must be noted, especially the homologous sequence containing universal primers.

3) PCR products

a. High quality PCR solution with 200-1500 bp fragment size, bright and single electrophoresis band of 2-3μL of PCR solution.

b. Please indicate the volume, fragment size and concentration of PCR products, and whether they have been purified by Agarose gel. The volume of unpurified PCR product ≥ 50μL, and the volume of purified PCR product ≥10μL.

c. Please indicate the sequence, concentration, volume, and purification method of PCR primers. The primer concentration ≥ 5 pmol/μL, and PAGE purification is required, and the volume ≥ 10 μL.

d. If the PCR product is purified by yourself, the purified PCR product should be dissolved in sterilized deionized water, not in TE.
